What is deep cleaning?

Deep cleaning is a detailed cleaning service that focuses on areas that may not be covered during routine cleaning, such as baseboards, doors, fixtures, cabinet exteriors and hard-to-reach areas. It takes longer than a standard clean and is commonly booked as a first visit, a seasonal reset, or before starting recurring service.

Over time, dust settles on baseboards and door frames, soap scum builds up around fixtures, and grease collects on cabinet fronts and backsplashes. Routine cleaning keeps visible surfaces clean, but it is not designed to reach all of these areas every time.

A deep cleaning addresses that accumulated buildup. It includes everything in a standard clean plus detailed tasks throughout the home. After a deep clean, a recurring standard cleaning schedule is usually enough to maintain the results.

FAQ

Deep Cleaning FAQs

How often should I schedule a deep cleaning?

Many households book a deep clean once or twice a year, or as the first visit before recurring service. Homes with pets, young children or heavy use may benefit from more frequent deep cleans.

How long does a deep cleaning take?

A deep clean takes noticeably longer than a standard cleaning because of the detailed tasks. Time depends on home size and condition; your quote includes an estimate.

Does deep cleaning include the inside of the oven and refrigerator?

Interior appliance cleaning is not part of every deep clean. If you want it, mention it when requesting a quote and we will confirm whether it can be included.

Should I book a deep clean before recurring service?

Often, yes. If your home has not been professionally cleaned recently, a deep clean first makes recurring visits more effective.
